Mangalore Buns are sweet banana puris with a fluffy center and golden crust. This ready mix lets you recreate this coastal favorite at home with ease.

 

Cooking Instructions:

Step 1: For 250 grams Mangalore Buns mix, add 8-10 tablespoon of curd (to get puri dough consistency).

Step 2: Knead the dough gently. Do not add any oil.

Step 3: Cover the bowl with a wet cloth and keep it for 30 minutes.

Step 4: When ready to shape the dough into large lemon sized balls and lightly roll out into about ¼ inch thik rounds & about 4 inches in diameter.

Step 5: Fry this in any edible oil one by one on medium heat.

Step 6: Lightly press down with a slotted spoon for a few seconds on a both side to puff up till it turns golden brown!
